This hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices for a charming and authentic experience. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, with antique adornments creating a sense of time standing still over the last 100 years. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the bus and railway stations, and close to the Color Line ferry to Denmark. Additionally, there are great dining options nearby, including an excellent Indian restaurant just a few blocks away.
All was ok at this hotel.

The rooms were sick, with the comfiest beds ever and a chill vibe. Plus, the hotel was close to two epic spots - the beach for wicked surfing and the town for partying like rockstars. And the best part? We could connect to the web and share our epic adventures with all our friends.
If there's one thing we'd change, it's that we wish the hotel had a sick party room where we could throw down and have a blast with our crew. Like, imagine rocking out with a DJ and some sick beats.

We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail in the rooms. The antique furniture and rosemåling decorations added a charming touch to our stay. The hotel's location, very close to the bay and the harbor, was perfect for exploring the town without needing a car. We also loved the little garden area, where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, having a small kitchen in our room was a great bonus.
Or all ok: All was perfect, no complaints whatsoever!

The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail in the rooms. I loved the antique furniture and the old-style beds with sheepskin covers. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The central location made it convenient to explore the beach, harbor, and even catch the Color Line ferry to Denmark. Additionally, having a small kitchen in the room and daily cleaning made my stay even more comfortable.
All was well, nothing to be improved.

Our Easter getaway was fantastic! the room was very spacious with an excellent-sized bed and comfortable mattresses, and the shower was immaculate. the hotel was situated within walking distance from public transportation, the beach, and the harbor; we could not have asked for a better location. Lastly, the decoration of the hotel rooms was very interesting and heavily inclined towards a national-romanticism style.
the cutlery quality could have been improved.

The location of this hotel was perfect for me as I didn't have a car. It was close to everything, right near the town centre, and I was able to easily walk to the harbor to catch a ferry. the room was decorated nicely and the bathroom was clean and large. Service was friendly and the breakfast tray brought to my room was adequate.
The walls in the hotel were quite thin and I could hear my neighbors easily.

Great location close to the harbor and in a well-maintained historic building. The room was nicely decorated in the old-time style and had a comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast was lovely with fresh buns, eggs, and yogurt.
The room had no dishwasher, which made it difficult to clean dishes. The towels had a weird smell, maybe because of dampness, and the staff didn't seem to care when we reported it.

The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
No complaints.
